Falconry Experience - Full Day
As a special treat for yourself or a gift to someone else, this unforgettable falconry day will provide a dramatic opportunity to be up close to these stunning, intelligent hunting birds!
Your day will start with getting to know each other over complimentary drinks at our base in Tonbridge. An outline of your day will be explained.
Our trained and experienced falconers will give a short talk about the history of falconry and about the birds you will be flying. You will see how we care for, manage and handle the birds and we will show you how the birds are held in a safe way. We will also make you aware of the safeguards necessary for the falconry field experience.
After a lunch, we will be transported to the beautiful Kent countryside nearby, for a whole two hours of field hawking. You will experience the excitement and tension as you see the hawks and falcons gliding, soaring and swooping. A real spectacle! Your exhilarating day ends with an opportunity to ask further questions, your journey back to base and a chance for us to tell you about other chances to learn more!
10.00am - Complimentary tea, introduction talk.- 10.30am - Basic falconry skills - behind the flying
