Types & sizes of netting
Plastic bird nets usually come in white or black, and a variety of mesh sizes. Which you choose will depend on the location, species of bird, durability and aesthetics of the buildings involved.
To maximise the life of the netting, it is generally recommended to use the thickest or heaviest gauge possible. Anti-bird nets can last between five to ten years. In some locations, steel mesh can be used which lasts even longer.
